I’m reading the introduction to Plato’s “Charmides” and the introducer just said that Plato leaves it up to the reader to determine the point for himself.

Himself.

Himself.

Himself.

This is not a new thing, men are the default always but reading it I was just like hmmm, how would menfolk respond if suddenly, overnight, they woke up and allll those defaults we run into every damn day were her, herself, she, women, girls. What would they think? Would it be a profound moment of “what the fuck, how did I never notice?” Or would there be anger? Some feeling that they had somehow lost substance while they slept, had somehow become less present in the world?

Just a thought.
